The 2017 Texas Med Fun Run will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017.
How much is registration?
Can I pick up my bib on race day?
There will be race day BIB pick-up for those who registered prior to race day. Should you lose or damage your BIB prior to race day, a $10.00 administrative fee will be required to obtain a new BIB.
I cannot make it to any of the scheduled BIB pick-ups. Can someone pick it up for me?
Yes! You can have a friend/family member pick up your packet. They will need to verify your DOB and contact information.
I can't participate on race day. Can I get a refund or defer to next year?
No, we do not offer refunds or allow deferrals for any reason.
Weather on race day:
In case of inclement weather, natural disaster, or other unforeseen extraordinary circumstances, the HCHD Foundation management reserves the right to cancel the event and/or modify the event for safety concerns. Under such circumstances, there will be absolutely no refunds or transfer of entries to future HCHD Foundation events. Harris County Hospital District Foundation pledges to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event for all. Any decision we make to go forth with the race is based on overall safety of the event.
Where does the race start and finish?
The Texas Med Run start line is South McGregor and Cambridge and the finish line for the 5K and the 10K is South McGregor and Cambridge street.
What time does the race start?
What items are not allowed on the course?
Dogs, baby joggers, baby strollers, skateboards, rollerblades, unauthorized bicycles or any other wheeled devices are not allowed on the race course. Wheelchairs will be allowed and encouraged on the 5K non-timed walk run.
What are the age groups for awards?
Can I register at the packet pick-up location?
Yes! We will have computers set up so you may register online. You will be able to receive your packet and race BIB at that time as well.
